Long-term engagement in research on the regulatory mechanisms of oocyte and early embryo development. From the perspectives of ribosome processing, protein metabolism, and translation initiation, several key molecules affecting protein levels in oocytes or early embryos have been identified, and their regulatory mechanisms have been elucidated. This provides a theoretical basis for explaining female infertility caused by abnormal oocyte and embryo development quality, and provides a molecular basis for precise clinical diagnosis and treatment. 11 papers have been published in international journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Science, and The EMBO Journal. In the past 3 years, 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Science Fund project and 3 provincial and ministerial-level fund projects have been presided over, with 2 patent applications.
