Director and Chief Physician of Urology (Male) Department, CITIC Xiangya Reproductive and Genetic Hospital. Member of the Reproductive Andrology Group of the Reproductive Medicine Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Standing Committee Member of the Male Reproductive Medicine Branch of the Chinese Sexology Society; Member of the Reproductive Medicine Professional Committee of Hunan Province. He has been engaged in urology and male reproductive medicine for a long time. He specializes in male infertility, especially the diagnosis and treatment of azoospermia, and was the first to introduce microsurgery in male reproductive medicine in Hunan Province, having completed over 1000 microsurgeries including microsurgical sperm retrieval and microsurgical vasoepididymostomy.

Personal Experience

Graduated from the seven-year clinical medicine program of Xiangya Medical College, Central South University in 2007, and has been engaged in clinical urological work since then. Started working in reproductive andrology in 2017 and was the first in Hunan Province to perform microsurgical sperm retrieval. Promoted to Chief Physician of Urology in 2020. Has completed over 1000 microsurgeries including microsurgical sperm retrieval and microsurgical vasoepididymostomy. Participated in the writing of domestic expert consensus on azoospermia [1], oligozoospermia [2], perioperative management of microsurgical sperm retrieval [3], retrograde ejaculation [4], globozoospermia [5], genetic diagnosis and treatment of sperm factors in ICSI fertilization disorders [6], and typing and diagnosis and treatment of spermatogenesis disorders [7].
