He is in charge of the Radiology Department, Laboratory Department, Sperm Bank, Department of Andrology Laboratory, Equipment Department, Logistics Department, and Construction Department.

His current research focuses on male reproductive genetics and clinical laboratory diagnostics.

In recent years, he has published more than 20 SCI, EI, and CSCD indexed papers as the first author or corresponding author, and participated in the publication of more than 20 SCI, EI, and CSCD indexed papers; he presided over one National Natural Science Foundation of China general project, one key project of the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation, one project of the Ministry of Education's Doctoral Discipline Point New Teacher Fund, and two horizontal scientific research and development projects; he also participated in four National Natural Science Foundation projects and one 973 project.
