Director and Chief Physician of Urology (Male Reproductive Medicine), CITIC Xiangya Reproductive and Genetic Hospital. Member of the Reproductive Andrology Group of the China Association of Physicians; Standing Committee Member of the Male Reproductive Medicine Branch of the Chinese Society of Sexology; Member of the Hunan Provincial Committee of Reproductive Medicine. Long-term engagement in clinical work in urology and male reproductive medicine. Expertise in male infertility, particularly the diagnosis and treatment of azoospermia; pioneered microsurgery in male reproductive medicine in Hunan Province, having completed over 1000 microsurgical procedures including microsurgical sperm retrieval, and microsurgical epididymal vasostomy.

Personal Experience

Graduated from Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University with a seven-year clinical medicine program in 2007, and subsequently engaged in clinical urology. Started working in reproductive andrology in 2017, pioneering microsurgical sperm retrieval in Hunan Province. Promoted to Chief Physician of Urology in 2020. Completed a total of over 1000 microsurgical procedures, including microsurgical sperm retrieval and microsurgical epididymal vasostomy. Participated in writing domestic expert consensus on azoospermia [1], oligospermia [2], perioperative management of microsurgical sperm retrieval [3], retrograde ejaculation [4], round-headed sperm [5], genetic diagnosis and treatment of ICSI fertilization disorder sperm factors [6], and typing and diagnosis and treatment of spermatogenesis disorders [7].
