In response to the clinical needs for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of female infertility related diseases caused by follicular developmental disorders and poor oocyte quality, research on the mechanisms of maternal factors and stable transmission of genetic information during the oocyte-to-embryo conversion process is conducted to explore and predict methods for improving oocyte quality and to improve the success rate of assisted reproduction. In recent years, five national/provincial and ministerial projects have been presided over, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) general and youth projects, and five national invention patents have been applied for. Research results have been successively published in internationally renowned journals and authoritative journals in the field of reproduction such as PNAS, Advance Science, EMBO Molecular Medicine, and Human Reproduction.
