On January 4, 2025, Xiangya Hospital of China CITIC Bank held a summary and academic exchange meeting—the 2024 Medical Consortium Construction Annual Summary Meeting and the "New Advances in Reproductive and Genetic Diagnosis and Treatment Paths" Academic Conference. The meeting brought together more than 80 authoritative experts in the field of reproduction and genetics from all over the country. They reviewed the achievements and experiences of medical consortium construction over the past year, and conducted training and learning on common academic issues. The aim was to create a homogenized management model, jointly promote the excavation and improvement of the "internal driving force" of the medical consortium, deepen cooperation, strengthen ties, and create a multi-level service platform for eugenics and health.

Diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) refers to a decrease in the ovaries' ability to produce eggs, namely reduced egg quantity and quality, leading to decreased fertility and sex hormone deficiency. This is one of the major causes of infertility. Xiangya Hospital of CITIC is currently conducting a national key research and development project: "A multicenter randomized controlled trial on the effect of acupuncture pretreatment on the clinical pregnancy rate of IVF-ET in DOR patients." We are recruiting 24 volunteers to participate in this clinical trial.
