On December 27, CITIC Xiangya Reproductive and Genetic Specialty Hospital and China Southern Airlines Logistics Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, realizing the first super service channel for human sperm banks and Southern Airlines logistics in the country.

This cooperation aims to accelerate the national transportation and processing efficiency of the CITIC Xiangya Human Sperm Bank and lead the high-quality development of the sperm sample cold chain logistics industry.

It is reported that in the future, the two parties will complement each other's strengths and comprehensively deepen strategic cooperation in aspects such as the informatization, timeliness, and standardization of logistics, jointly creating a super service channel for sperm sample air logistics, building a safe, convenient, and efficient standardized process for sperm sample air logistics, and promoting the transportation of human sperm bank samples to be faster, wider, and more flexible, accelerating and improving the development of human assisted reproductive technology and the cause of eugenics.

As China's first human sperm bank, the CITIC Xiangya Human Sperm Bank currently has a sperm storage capacity of up to 180,000 units and has provided high-quality sperm to more than 80 reproductive centers nationwide, covering most provinces in the country.

"The opening of this air logistics service channel is an upgrade of the logistics and delivery services of the human sperm bank, which will provide more convenient and efficient services for reproductive centers and patients."
